5 Indian celebrities who are highly educated

When we think of Bollywood actors and actresses, all we think about is the entertainment that they provide us with. We do not look at them as qualified and highly-educated people. At most we would believe that they would have degrees in acting and theatre. But there are some actors and actresses who have degrees that some people can only dream of achieving, and act only out of passion for the art.

Parineeti Chopra:

This young actress has completed degrees which most Indians can only dream about in their wildest fantasies. She made her debut in Bollywood with Ishaqzaade. She is a graduate from Manchester Business School in the United Kingdom. From the B-School, she graduated with a triple honours degree in Business, Finance, and Economics.

Amitabh Bachchan:

Big B was the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati for years, a game show that awarded money to the contestants on the basis of their knowledge. Certainly he gained quite a lot of knowledge from the show. Other than that, he also holds a double major in Science and Arts from Kirori Mal College in Delhi, and an honorary doctorate degree from Queensland University, Australia.

Shah Rukh Khan:

The King of Bollywood has many awards to his name. For the early childhood, he attended St Columba’s School, Delhi, where he was awarded the Sword of Honour, a felicitation that was awarded to an exceptional student. The actor also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hansraj College in Delhi University. He also holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from Jamiya Millia Islamia. He was honoured with the Chubb Fellowship at Yale University, a degree of Doctor Honoris Causa from University Chancellor the Princess Royal in Edinburgh, and an honorary doctorate degree from Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad.

Soha Ali Khan:

Soha Ali Khan graduated from Balliol College, Oxford, with a degree in Modern History. She went on to graduate from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a Master’s degree in International Relations.

John Abraham:

This handsome hunk received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Jai Hind College, and later, obtained an MBA from Mumbai Education Trust.
